On the 5th Anniversary of the failed January 6th insurrection attempt, we’re reminded how fragile democracy can be. We must remember the darkness of that day so it’s never repeated. As history is rewritten by some, we choose to speak the truth of what happened.

It’s almost like green energy is the only way forward and a handful of oil barons are doing everything in their power to keep that from happening so they can get even richer at the cost of literally everything else in the world.
Wall Street’s biggest banks made more money financing green projects than they did from working with fossil fuel companies for a fourth straight year, even as they faced ongoing pressure to pull back from the business

There are many claims that AI is a “planet killing” source of greenhouse gases.

But is it?

This paper might be the most detailed estimate of the emissions associated with AI.

It suggests that AI could emit as much as 30-80 *million* tons of CO2 per year.

A deeply dangerous — and blatantly retaliatory action against Colorado — by the Trump administration.

NCAR is one of the most renowned scientific facilities in the WORLD — where scientists perform cutting-edge research everyday.

We will fight this reckless directive with every legal tool we have.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

Based on what I have been hearing about the NCAR situation, no one knew anything until the USA Today article came out. That means there isn’t much actual organization inside the administration to pull this off and a chance to fight back. Call your congresspeople today! Especially republicans.

The good news? Nearly all the world’s advanced economies are now *cutting* their emissions, while still growing their economies.

(It had little to do with the Paris agreement per se, though. It was due to better technology.)

The bad news? We need to much more.

We found that telling the AI "you are a great physicist" doesn't make it significantly more accurate at answering physics questions, nor does "you are a lawyer" make it worse.
