I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

In fact, Israel (the state of) has been so effective at programming their children to hate Arabs, that they exported their methods to the US back in 1953. The hatred of Arabs is so ubiquitous, our society is effectively numb to it. Yet most people here have never even met an Arab.

Where did I call them nazis? You should learn what they teach in school about Arabs if you don't think that Israelis are brainwashed. Now, as you note, thousands have rejected that effort and I applaud them for it. But by in large, Israeli society is programmed to think of Arabs as subhuman.
