1. I write all kinds of music (one of my experimental electronic pieces is in the video linked)
2. I create music by commission for others to use.
3. I stream on Twitch (mostly MTG).

One of the coolest parts about building our studio is that I can make my dream office setup.

The white desk on the right is going to be a fully kitted out editing/streaming PC. We are going to have places throughout the studio where you can roll up and plug it in, like this spelltable setup!

In other words, can one short-cut the process of analyzing for instance all Gyruda decks to get the average salt score for Gyruda by just looking at the salt score of the average Gyruda deck?
jjmickeymedia.bsky.social
Hey #MTG data analysis and math nerds!

Would the average salt score of all EDH decks for a given commander be the same value as the salt score of the average EDHREC deck for that commander?

Go Tappy! I myself became much more comfortable dealing with wasps when I found out I was able to hit them out of the air with my fly swatter.

I definitely have the means to produce chill edm for you. How chill or how danceable you want it... we can definitely figure that out and I can make adjustments as we go along, until I have a track you are happy to use.

You already know I love Pendragon. I also play Arsenal and Pilot and have a couple Clover brews in the works.

I had a post written last night, but when I opened this app, I didn’t get to send, only glimpse it.

It asked:

What small formats do you play?

Is there one you’ve only heard via rumor?

Are you building or maintaining something obscure?

I’m working on an Abe Sargent inspired format compendium.

Three of my favourite people are coming to join me for games on stream tonight and the timing couldn't be better. Doni's gonna make me eat it, but it's still EDH the way it was meant to be played :) <3

There's a level of introspection about one's deckbuilding and if one's "bracket 2 with an asterisk deck" feels "angle-shooty" or not, which I hope to encourage. I don't think there's a concrete way to sort decks between the two. I just want to encourage everyone to be honest with themselves.
jjmickeymedia.bsky.social
On the contrary it wouldn't feel right to me to still run the gamechangers in my F&T deck and still insist that it's fundamental nature should still put it up against bracket 2 decks.
jjmickeymedia.bsky.social
Now there are decks that resemble what I'm talking about here but are really something else entirely. A bracket 2 deck built around a specific card and thus requires tutors is something that comes to mind here as perfectly acceptable so long as you discuss it with your playgroup.
jjmickeymedia.bsky.social
For a personal example, my Fluros and Tana deck is fundamentally a "midrange go-wide creature deck". I used to run Urza, Deflecting Swat, and Seedborn Muse in the deck. But I took them all out when I concluded that my deck "wanted" to be a bracket 2 deck.
