Presidents who attended Kennedy Ctr events since its opening in 1971 and did not dream of putting their names on it

Nixon
Ford
Carter
Reagan
Bush I
Clinton
Bush II
Obama
Biden

Very different people. None of them this vulgar.

Would have made more sense for DJT to put his name on the Supreme Court.

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Sorkin: Trump said that China was going to buy 12 million tons of soybeans by the end of the year. I’ve asked members of the administration: the end of the year is basically here—we’re about 15 days away. I think we’ve sold about 300,000 metric tons. So how do you get from 300,000 to 12 million?

This is extraordinary, heartbreaking, and a red alert warning sign for our democracy.

These people are about to be federal judges, and they refuse to answer whether the U.S. Capitol was attacked on January 6.

They say they can't comment because it's "a political controversy".
Sen. BLUMENTHAL: Was the U.S. Capitol attacked on January 6, 2021?

Trump nominee: *dodges*

Trump nominee: Well, individuals entered the Capitol.

Blumenthal: You are in fear—how will you have the courage to be fair and impartial?

It appear that BLS made a big judgment error in its shelter calculation (effectively assuming 0 in October), leading to inflation understated.

It is, however, very unlikely this error was political. If anything the opposite: they stuck to algorithm rather than using judgment.
