Back from the local #nokingsday. It was as heartening as it was disheartening. On one hand, the number of people was amazing. On the other hand 90% of it was senior citizens, and only like 10 people seemed to understand that any movement without at least threat of consequence behind it is just a 1/2

I'm going to say this until I'm in a camp myself but the entire world collectively needs to stop looking at ICE agents as if they are people. they are not. and there is no utility in making arguments that dehumanizing them is as bad as what they do to their victims. they dehumanized themselves.

I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action
