Good news! I’m finally breathing better today. Being outside is still rough cuz of the Santa Ana winds and dust and dander through the roof but I’m masking so it’s good.

Tested positive for Flu A last night after 4 hours (3 more to go) in a tattoo chair for my first tattoo with my sister…. I thought I had a chest cold that I was through the worst of. I masked, checked in with the artist and felt good and then my sugar suddenly dropped and wouldn’t come up.

My sister is here visiting with my nephew and brother in law and they always stay with my grandma. I’ve been super happy seeing them but it’s been hard being around family with big differences of opinions politically. The topic of vaccines came up and I’m telling you I rolled my eyes soooo hard.

Earlier I went to get a new fav pumpkin chai with a Black Friday discount. It didn’t quite work properly so the cashier just gave it to me for free. 🥰 this isn’t the first time this has happened recently. I feel like there is a gentleness in the service industry towards folks

As @jannafidgets.bsky.social and I continue to watch Star Trek to catch up so we can watch Picard we are in Season 3 of Deep Space 9 and it’s set in 2024…their depiction of Sanctuary districts is a lot like the camps and places we keep folks who have immigrated here illegally…

Trump’s first big bold thing is to slap tariffs on our three biggest trading partners. We import oil and lumber from Canada, fresh produce from Mexico, consumer goods from China. Prices will soar as the import tax is passed on to U.S. consumers. This is madness.

I’m starting to think that the longer we shield Trump voters from the worst economic outcomes, the worse things actually will get.
Sometimes people just have to find out the hard way, sad as that is. Yes, we will suffer. But at least they will learn that elections do have consequences.

Succeeded at my first broccoli cheddar casserole of the season and had several people ask for the recipe so no I have to write down that shit and honestly… I’ve needed to do this for years cuz every year I’m like “what do I do again” then I try and I mostly kill it. Lol sorry no pic for proof!
