The Gang's All Here! (2025)

I finally finished this thing. It started it's life as a doodle. I decided to turn into a #digitalpainting for an exhibition spring 2024. I missed that deadline for sure 😅

But i'm glad i finished it anyway #art

1. The Mysterious He. Next to him are three smaller Hes, one purple, one cyan, and one yellow. The big one has the typical tiny dot eyes and smile, while the other three have slight variations.
2. A figure in a baggy purple cloak with a clock for a face. .
3. The Moon Man, a very vaguely humanoid, pale yellow thing with a crescent shaped face, a round body, and long limbs that end in thick stumps. One eye is is an X.

10. An elegant flying serpent with shimmering pink skin and a ridge of yellow and green spines down its back.
11. Paint brush fish. The largest is yellow red, and the three smaller ones orange and blue. They leave flying drops of paint in a trail behind them as they sweep through the air.
12. Four smiling bubbles.
13. Three rusty smiling square heads on crooked bodies. They are cute.
14. A big fluffy storm cloud with large arms, a concerned expression, and sunburst eyes.
15. For Whom the Bell Tolls: A giant eye set atop a dark triangle body. Fleshy arms hold out a set of golden bells.

But Don Wollheim saw possibilities in the concept better than I did and selected it to develop for the cover. For an allegory on the use of opium and its derivatives— specifically heroin—I posed the Angel of Death amid a field of poppies, offering a false mask of friendship. 2/5

new short story coming this winter 🖤 heavy on the leather

That time Vie had to stake her most beloved friend through the heart. The heart said friend had gifted her, which she stashed inside her own ribcage for safekeeping.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Maram. Maram is just 20 years old and was in secretarial school before this started. She is mainly trying to help her sister Sabreen who has four children, 7 year old twins Osama and Jana, Khetam (Tota), 5 and a baby boy born today!

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mohammed. Mohammed was finishing his studies to be a civil engineer in Rafah. His home and the small farm that him and his family had were destroyed. He’s now trying to survive with his large family, including many small children, in tents.

Ibrahim is just 22 and was studying electrical network engineering and working in a supermarket prior to this- he’s now trying to help his whole family including his siblings Shimaa, 21, Hind, 18, Doha, 17, Waad, 16 and Mohammed, 13.
