Not because of vaccines.
Not because of some headline.

Fascism is when the KKK mass murders at least 5000 Black people & terrorizes millions more, but are still allowed to exist & hold public marches due to "free speech," but Black & brown people are disappeared, deported, & tortured on the mere accusation that they said things the Govt doesn't like.😐

*Begging* journalists/media to use the correct terminology

• Arrest w/o due process = unlawful arrest

• Confinement w/o due process = KIDNAPPING

• Transportation across state/international borders w/o due process = HUMAN TRAFFICKING

• Politically-motivated internment site = CONCENTRATION CAMP

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

A reminder to reporters: Because Trump tariff numbers are made-up nonsense, using the phrase “reciprocal tariffs” is lying to your audience. The phrase itself is propaganda. They are not reciprocal.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

The President of the US and richest man on earth, unilaterally STOPPED children’s cancer research and clinical trials because they view them as “wasteful”.

If this doesn’t get your feet in the streets, I don’t know what will.

I saw an amazing Peter Gabriel concert in ’87. He performed “Biko” with African dancers. It was powerful. I was young and the anti-apartheid movement was a no-brainer. We felt the world shifting. Fast forward to 2025: A pro-apartheid ambassador was just appointed to South Africa. 1/6

I know it bothers you as much as it does me that journalism as an institution can’t process that what it’s seeing on a daily basis is evil people doing evil sh*t

I'm not going to quotepost that awful Noem video, but I will note that even the Bush administration during the Iraq War was embarrassed by Abu Gharib–not ashamed, but the capacity to be embarrassed still does matter.

I'm disgusted and sick to my stomach. But also angry and hurt and scared. And hopeless.
this is disgusting.

When will we wake up and fight back? I grew up in the 80s when the movies were about bullies being destroyed by people more clever and resourceful than them. We need a real world "Revenge of the Woke".
