Two weeks ago I said that there were likely millions of uninstalled Blackwell GPUs sitting in warehouses as there is neither the data center capacity nor the power to turn them on. Michael Burry is looking into it and it looks like he’s got evidence I’m right.

I’m what you’d call an “A list” musician here in Nashville, TN. What I do is under threat from AI, & it’s finally bridging a gap between us & indie musicians (that never should have existed). Marc Ribot and John Medehski have started a great new group to address this & we made a statement this week.

It makes a lot of sense when you consider that Nuzzi works for a magazine and RFK works for people who are stealing children and murdering fishermen.
Not to defend Olivia Nuzzi, who broke every rule in journalism and promoted a charlatan to his current position. But it's incredibly telling that she will lose her job, but RFK Jr. gets to stay in his job despite the reports of his drug use, his affairs and his defenestrating of public health.

Dude on here said that the anti-AI cohort (of which I’m a member, as I’m a musician who isn’t insane) are behaving just like fascists & when I countered “we may go too far but you understand the fear & loathing right?” they told me I should channel my activism toward ending capitalism. No hope.

Beast In Me is great and all, but I can’t help but yearn for a wonderful time called the 90’s when you used to get like five Beast In Me’s a year in the form of a 90 minute movie (which it absolutely could have been). I know this is just how it is now, but lemme tell you it was great back then.

All point about the south being racism are valid and the south has its own uniquely punitive brand of it. What we push back against is the insinuation that the rest of the US is perfect or even any better. Many of us have spent time in Boston, for example.
