What a luxury it must be to live in a world where the most upsetting thing is a governor accurately comparing today’s state actions to the diary of a girl who had to hide from agents of the state trying to disappear her family for being deemed “illegal.”

Just visited with Liam and his father at Dilley detention center. I demanded his release and told him how much his family, his school, and our country loves him and is praying for him.

My neighbor, a single mother of two in South Minneapolis, was abducted today and everything about it is heartbreaking. There is an immediate (and steep) financial need for lawyer costs.
