Love this album 🧡
I'd argue that its 1965 release changed Rock and Roll for the better. It kicked open the doors and broke all the windows. Fiat sonus! Fiat musica! link.deezer.com/s/31N0B0eAqy...

It’s incredible to think how far HIV treatment has come in my lifetime & that’s a source of hope for me in facing my own illness. But it’s important to remember that this isn’t only a victory of science, but of the determination of AIDS activists who fought thru grief, stigma, silence. #WorldAIDSDay

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

Labour MP Brian Leishman: "The Government has surrendered to... the vile rhetoric of Reform. Does the Home Secretary not see that removing the legal obligation to support asylum seekers who will be otherwise destitute, is as far away from Labour Party principles and values as we can get?"

PERSON OF THE DAY. 15 November 1897. Aneurin Bevan was born in Tredegar, Wales. He spearheaded the creation of the NHS in 1948 by the Labour government. It offered treatment free at the point of delivery to all citizens, irrespective of income. It’s one of the key social reforms in British history.
