It's a good idea, but i only have packing tape at work, and I'm not that brave. I would definitely mangle my mask or face skin. I'm only here for another hour, then I can breathe my horror virus all over my car mask free like the gremlin I am.

Oh no... I used a really strong mouthwash at work... I'm wearing a mask since im getting over a sinus infection. My breath keeps sneaking out of the top of my mask, and it's making my eyes water and burn... it's so minty. Soooo minty.

Someone asked me if I knew my hair was purple today. Um, no, I got attacked by a wandering gang of hooligan hairstylists. They also took 200.00 and wouldn't let me look in a mirror. It was all very traumatic.

Let’s be clear MILLIONS of disabled people are going to suffer and die because of Medicaid cuts. Chronically ill and disabled folks rely HEAVILY on medical care to survive and they also have the highest rates of poverty in the country. Cutting Medicaid is a death sentence for many.

Thermostat: The time is 3:05 am

Smoke Alarm: Carbon monoxide detected

Thermostat: The temperature is 74°

Smoke Alarm: Fire detected

Thermostat: Beeeeeeeeeeppppp

Then silence. I'm trying to disable voice controls on the thermostat now.

At which point the smoke alarm again said its batteries were low. This excited the thermostat which asked us to set the time. Which we couldn't because the smoke alarm was getting its batteries changed. Then this exchange happened...

My smoke alarm talks. The batteries were running low, which it told us in a very soothing female voice. However, we weren't aware the smoke alarm spoke so we assumed it was the talking thermostat for the AC. The batteries were changed which undid us turning off voice commands.

I do miss one thing about Florida, seeing cool lizards.
