Years and years ago, I worked retail at a box store, the red one. I did three Black Fridays, and going in at 12:01 AM on Christmas night to work an overnight a few times. I learned more about people and human nature than I ever wanted to know.

Seasonal depression. I have it, and it’s hitting me hard right now. Trying to do things when the little voice in my head keeps saying ‘what’s the point’ is hard. Could use a break from this feeling. If anyone wants to say hi, I could really use the dopamine hit, thanks

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Two suspiciously similar accounts started following me today. They’ve both posted exactly once, with the rest of their feeds being reposts. Their banner art feels off. They have maybe a dozen followers, but they’re following over a thousand people. Are they farming follows, or something else?
