Ever notice how photos of white supremacists always make a poor argument for white supremacy?

I asked Border Patrol why they used a Michael Jackson song with antisemitic lyrics, highlighted this morning by @paleofuture.bsky.social. You're not gonna believe this but they did not answer my questions: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Border Patrol won’t say why it used a Michael Jackson song with antisemitic lyrics
The video was live on Facebook and Instagram for two months.

MacCALLUM: Margaret Thatcher said socialism is great until you run out of other people's money

MAMDANI: Well, what Andrew Cuomo said is that if you have $957m you give it to Elon Musk in tax credits

Antisemitism is such a serious issue to MAGA that they insist you only hire professors from the "I love Hitler" group chat.

Saying treat me like a “kike” is not an argument against antisemitism.

The US Border Patrol’s Facebook page posted a video featuring the banned lyrics from Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us.”

“Jew me, sue me, everybody, do me kick me, k*ke me.”

Why would the cartels want to stop ICE and CBP activities that have been diverting resources away from drug interdiction?

This idiot keeps bragging about the 20 hostages being released in another country while he's kidnapping thousands of people a day here in America.

Fuck him and the fascism he rode in on.

Emerging from the darkness of this era will require us to acknowledge that the previous status quo, including many institutions that may have served us well in another era, have been failing for my entire lifetime.

This is a great factcheck on the DHS sizzle videos of them rounding up immigrants: they are leaving a lot of context out.

here’s more context to the videos DHS is putting out from Chicago.

1. Last night, John Oliver destroyed Bari Weiss and specifically called out her inaccurate and targeted coverage of transgender people.

It's the latest of several shows Oliver has done in defense of trans people.

Weiss at CBS is a disaster for trans people.

I love books! But I'm 1,000 times more likely to undergo an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind procedure to make me forget I ever heard about Nuzzi's relationship with RFK Jr. than I am to read her book.

In 2004, Parisian police were conducting a training exercise in the french catacombs and found, after moving past a desk and a tape playing audio of snarling dogs, a fully functional movie theater and bar. When they returned 3 days later, the equipment was gone, with a note: “Do not try to find us.”
Members of the force's sports squad, responsible
- among other tasks - for policing the 170 miles of tunnels, caves, galleries and catacombs that underlie large parts of Paris, stumbled on the complex while on a training exercise beneath the Palais de Chaillot, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower.
After entering the network through a drain next to the Trocadero, the officers came across a tarpaulin marked: Building site, No access.
Behind that, a tunnel held a desk and a closed-circuit TV camera set to automatically record images of anyone passing. The mechanism also triggered a tape of dogs barking, "clearly designed to frighten people off," the spokesman said.
Further along, the tunnel opened into a vast 400 sq metre cave some 18m underground, "like an underground amphitheatre, with terraces cut into the rock and chairs". There the police found a full-sized cinema screen, projection equipment, and tapes of a wide variety of films, including 1950s film noir classics and more recent thrillers. None of the films were banned or even offensive, the spokesman said.
A smaller cave next door had been turned into an informal restaurant and bar. "There were bottles of whisky and other spirits behind a bar, tables and chairs, a pressure-cooker for making couscous," the spokesman said.
"The whole thing ran off a professionally installed electricity system and there were at least three phone lines down there."
Three days later, when the police returned accompanied by experts from the French electricity board to see where the power was coming from, the phone and electricity lines had been cut and a note was lying in the middle of the floor: "Do not," it said, "try to find us."
