"Government so small that one person controls it all." -The Republicans

Raises the question: Were the grand jurors informed of the date when Richman resigned from the FBI?
DOJ sets out its case against Comey in the most detail yet.

But the evidence in the brief doesn’t show that Comey lied about authorizing someone at the FBI (Richman) to be an anonymous source in media reports.

And much of it relates to events that occurred *after* Richman resigned from the FBI!
NEW: The government's response to James Comey's motion to dismiss for selective or vindictive prosecution is in.

Today, I’m announcing the Governor’s Redistricting Advisory Commission.

I’ve been clear from Day One: If other states are determining whether or not they have fair maps, so will Maryland.
Yes, but Dems will probably just pass one unrelated bill, and then spend the entire rest of the time talking about how they did the one bill and how we should re-elect them to get another single unrelated bill.

No, WE know a lot more about everything than Johnson, apparently.

“Oh, well I just told you about it, so now like all of the rest of us who pay attention to what’s going on, you know all about it. You just heard it, from me, and you know. You’re all caught up. So to repeat: does this concern you?”
RAJU: Last week you were very critical of Biden's use of the autopen. But Trump admitted on 60 Minutes to not knowing he pardoned a crypto billionaire who pleaded guilty to money laundering. Does that also concern you?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that. I didn't see it. I'm not sure.

Elaine Welteroth, former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue and youngest editor of Condé Nast ever, and the 2nd African American to hold this position, changed Teen Vogue to be more politically conscious.

NEW: Common Crawl, the massive archiver of the web, has gotten cozy with AI companies and is providing paywalled articles for training data. They’re also lying to publishers who have asked for material to be removed. “The robots are people too,” CC’s exec director told us when we asked about this.

Donald Trump is telling the Republicans to "get tougher."

Get tougher on who? The woman with malignant melanoma?

Because he sure as hell isn't getting tougher on the billionaires he invited to his Great Gatsby party.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.
It's like wealthy Democrats are either too dumb to see that they need to do the same, or they're actually in on the scam.

They gutted the Washington Post. CBS. NYT. Now Teen Vogue.

The point isn't to bring in more conservatives. They've reached that saturation point.

They are killing the fourth estate and buying up the social media to control the messages we see. These were all targeted to disarm the left of truth.

@sydneykamlager.bsky.social: Trump "is out of touch with reality. I think he is in cognitive decline, but he did not run to be president to actually help this country. He ran to exert maximum pain, as he and speaker Mike Johnson have said over and over during the course of the shutdown."

Louisiana — the red state that Mike Johnson nominally represents — has the second highest percentage of residents enrolled in SNAP in the nation.

They’re pushing this fantasy about these being “Democrat programs” used only in blue states but that’s a PR fantasy divorced from reality.
Mike Johnson: "These blue states have abused the SNAP program just like they've abused Medicaid and so many other government programs."
