This morning, I was hit in the face by a baton.

I’m going to have a pretty gnarly bruise but we need to remember why this is happening: Trump and ICE are rounding up our neighbors, treating them as subhuman, and shipping them off to labor camps in foreign countries. It has to end.

Hoping weather is cool enough on Saturday to wear this to #nokings. In Spanish, “La derecha oprima, la izquierda libera” is “righty-tighty, lefty-loosey,” but literally it’s “the right oppresses, the left liberates.” (Yes the left can oppress, but that’s not what I’m most worried about right now)

Things have been hard AF lately. I lost someone who was extremely dear to me, suddenly, no chance to say goodbye.

You might think from looking at this picture that the fluffy white dog has exhausted herself chasing the tennis ball next to her. This would not in fact be true.

If this was in fact a federal agent — and who can tell? Uniforms? ID? — than it is a violent assault on an unarmed , nonviolent civilian— again— and there needs to be accountability.
