Jackie Lau has a few of these. His Grumpy Childhood Friend is my favorite, though Not Another Family Wedding is also good. I love her books--they are fun and sexy with lovable characters, even the grumpy ones!

I read the Trump-backed voter suppression bill, the so-called “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Here’s my summary. Please tell your Senators to vote NO on this abomination: 202-224-3121. TY. 1/

Interesting thread comparing protest activity during Trump 1 to what we have happening now...
The volume & geographic distribution of protest nationwide during year 1 of Trump's second term was extraordinary.

Thank you for standing up for my right to vote. It would be amazing to have the excellent Oregon election system nationwide!
February 12, 2026 at 10:29 PM
Just called my Senators to tell them to stop this however necessary!

Oregon has been a vote-by-mail state for over 20 years and this act not only disenfranchises voters, but also upends our whole voting system. It is complete federal overreach.
BREAKING: The House passed the so-called SAVE America Act which threatens to upend our freedom to vote.

The bill could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register to vote and forcing voter roll purges. The Senate must reject it.

Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

I'm still SHOCKED by the obscene rise in billionaire election spending since Citizens United in the NYT piece, despite already knowing that election corruption w/ $ was profound. (Recall that BCRA fought dangerous campaign $ in *2002*)

The article data didn't have a graph, so I made one to show it.

Harrowing but enlightening thread. These camps must be closed and every detainee given reparations.
I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.

I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

Invoking wealthy class solidarity to excuse sex crimes against children is sorta the Epstein Class in a nutshell
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."
