Pinning posts is a thing now, so new intro!

I'm Jason! I've been in the gaming industry for 20+ years, at places like 2K, Bethesda, and currently Gearbox. I worked on many games you may have played. I also freelance for The Comics Journal.

I post complete nonsense here, and quite frequently, pie.

Haven't watched For All Mankind yet?
Then watch For All Mankind. ☝️

You have 52 days left to watch 40 episodes before season 5. And the rather optimistic vibe of this alternative universe, though obviously imperfect, may be just what you need right now. 👍

New year, new chance to hit those socials, #ttrpg / #comics / #IndieGame Folks!
Excellent news, #ttrpg / #comics / #IndieGame Folks!

I've opened up a few more slots for my basic social media package. This is a great option for small creators/studios looking to up their consistent posting game and direct folks to their products/crowdfunders/etc.

DM me for more details. 💜

I dunno, this sounds pretty great to me.
I've been playing the Dragon Quest VII remake and while it's lovely to look at, the lack of challenge is a problem. Dead party members revive after battles, there are healing statues before every boss, and you restore HP on level-ups (unlike DQ1-3 HD, you can't toggle this off). No friction at all

Recompilation is the most exciting thing happening in the retro scene right now. It's like every week there's some new amazing project underway.

It's so cold out it's just infuriating. Like I stepped outside and it made me genuinely angry.

My favorite annual announcement from Koei Tecmo is when they ask their fans not to send their favorite video game character or staff members a real valentines day gift to their head office, which leads to fans being upset at them because they take it personally.

She was great in The Studio, too. Brilliant right up to the very end.

If you're looking for a break from outrage, I recommend this film, Richard Linklater's Nouvelle Vague. About the legendary making of Jean-Luc Godard’s groundbreaking rule-shattering masterpiece, Breathless. I'd watch Breathless first. A great double feature!

Just a few hours after celebrating Sal B's birthday, I got the news that Sal has passed away. An enormous loss for our industry and for all of us who knew and worked with him. Safe journeys, Sal. We'll miss you.
Sal Buscema turns 90 today. There's hardly a Marvel character Sal hasn't left his mark on, from Cap to the Hulk, Avengers to Thor. Working with Sal for two years on Spectacular Spider-Man remains a highlight of my career. And the best part? He's not just a great artist, he's a truly good guy.

This snowy afternoon's movie: The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. I love this movie to death, but what occurred to me on this viewing is just how *interesting* everyone looks. There isn't a single movie star beautiful face to be found.
