An underappreciated thing, I think, is that OpenAI wasn't the first to the technology, it was just the first to both have the technology and be recklessly irresponsible enough to actually release it as a product
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.
