It’s a joke that Ciattarelli wants us to believe he cares about public safety after he’s spent years trying to slash police pay & benefits. He’s on record saying cops should earn less because he knows people with more dangerous jobs!

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

First RFK Jr. wanted to take fluoride out of water and has had some success in Republican jurisdictions that think scientific evidence is for chumps.

If you think they will accept an outcome they don’t like, they will just Grijalva it.

Just so we’re clear…

SNAP isn’t saved yet. A judge gave the USDA until Monday to decide how or if benefits go out. They could be delayed, reduced, or partial. Nothing’s guaranteed.

Even if payments restart, states still have to reload cards and update systems, so delays are certain.

Why the delay from Mike Johnson?
