During 2025, both the Government of Alberta and the United Conservative Party (UCP) promoted surveys branded as “Alberta Next.” The existence of a parallel, party-operated survey closely mirroring the government’s official consultation raises serious questions about whether public resources, communications staff, or web infrastructure were used to benefit a political organization.
