I guess I never made an intro post like all the cool kids are doing for the new influx of folks. I don’t have a sick art portfolio to show, but here’s a stack of games I helped make over the last 25 years.

My friend and fellow Diablo 3 dev team member, Peet Cooper is co-founder & creative director at Millions Of Monsters. Their first game is Chess Arena, an asymmetric battleground game using chess mechanics, made w/ internationally titled chess player @alexandrabotez.bsky.social.

Heartbroken that, per his social media accounts, Drew Struzan has left us. His poster and album art was quite simply shorthand for imagination for countless young people.

E.T. Adventure poster, 1990. I still have one of these hanging in my childhood bedroom.

Star Wars Special edition triptych, 1997. I remember seeing all of these in the paper as each film was re-released and just felt a burst of energy those mornings.

The details that you only see while building are my favorite. The cartridges are different inside. One of them has a printed part that you only see for a couple steps before it's covered. They never explain it, either. If you know Link's Awakening has saved games and therefore a battery, you know.😘👌

I mean, the time involvement assumes motion, but it doesn't have to be positional motion. I use them for color values pretty regularly.

Oh definitely. I'm just saying once you're considering time, you're probably also going to want to add in some kind of easing and most tween libraries have already done the heavy lifting for you.

Bonkers that you've never needed to do that before. I find myself normalizing all kinds of random values/metrics so I can use them as a lerp blend value.

I put mine together last night!

I continue to love the hidden details that end up inside the build that you'll only ever see while constructing it. This one had a unique printed piece that is almost immediately covered by something else.

Assumption that the rapture (New Testament Edition) is factually accurate and has been translated correctly, there's gotta be some sect that meets the qualifications...

Obviously not any main stream followers, but maybe some groups of Amish or something? I would watch this season of True Detective.
