Whelp, that worked better than I ever hoped!

Just watched @shylilytwitch.bsky.social spend an hour gathering evidence and fastidiously scribbling on the notepad I made in #HighOnLife2 for the Murder Mystery that @andyvatter.bsky.social designed.

[mystery spoilers, but only if you know what's up]

It's usually a good thing when UI goes unmentioned in a review, but occasionally there's a reason to highlight something specific in a positive light.

Designing & implementing the notepad in #HighOnLife2 was a fun few days for me.

Thanks for the shout out, @zackzwiezen.com (via @kotaku.com).

One of my favorite #HighOnLife2 reviews is from @gamerant.bsky.social.
It's great to read when so many things land with someone. Like "Yes! That's what we were going for!"

HIGH ON LIFE 2 - TOMORROW!

This is cooler than I realized. I dig the neighborhood labels that are being applied to this.

The ruins I can do that with are of a smaller scale.

Just wrapping up my second day at board.fun

I'm preeeeetty hype on it!

I'll be designing games and leading teams to build them for their tabletop console.

It's genuinely magic to interact with and I'm looking forward to coming up with new schools of alchemy to expand on what's already there!

Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers

I spent hours tweaking the gradient paths in Illustrator to get this logo reveal working in Godot. It looks like this tool would've made it so much easier!

We found @alexhorne.bsky.social! Happy Christmas Eve, y'all!

Had a ton of fun with the Taskmaster Advent Calendar (even if we did repeatedly fail to know what a UK phone number should look like).

Did gift exchange for Hanukkah last night and my brother got me the perfect #pico8 device. Finally making headway on my @adamatomic.bsky.social backlog.

Skeleton Gelatin is a treat!

Can't wait to dive into the rest of the collection, which is criminally underpriced at $5.

I always think it sounds like a jaunty ode to the original Mission Impossible theme.

Also, this just showed up! I ordered it months ago before all the US import shenanigans and genuinely wasn't sure if it would make it. Super pumped to dive into it tomorrow.

Totally get it, just wanted to share that I love these and am shocked they weren't already sold.

Wait, are you a swag archaeologist? Can you tell me what year and rarity tier this is?

I'm glad this post is getting attention, but I'm bummed that it doesn't include the name of the publication that ran this opinion, the New York Fucking Times. This is a RECURRING SECTION in what was once considered the gold standard in journalism.

Both Sides-ism has ruined social discourse.

I mean... what's your definition of "in production?"

The game came out in 2012 but had a trailer in 2007 ( www.tigsource.com/2007/10/10/f... ), and that was after Shawn McGrath, designer of the original mechanic ( web.archive.org/web/20140103... ) had left the team and Renaud Bédard had joined.

Yooooo! Are these gonna go up on the store? I've still got some room in my tiki shrines and would love to put that mug in a place of honor.

Yeah! I was worried it wouldn't work on things other than humans, but it's pretty good when there's a clear break between foreground & background.

It get's a little fuzzy with the clouds here, but they're clouds, so...

It's off the charts cheap!

Wait, we can upload our own GIFs now? I can finally show off the different ways I optimize in #Kaizen? Behold @coincidence.games, the cheapest sandwich I could construct!

So fancy with your "per button 3-mode switches". Us PC plebs only had one switch for all buttons to go into turbo mode. We did however get a threaded knob to turn our game pads into miniature joysticks...

Very cool! I've done stacking for star trails before, this was out in Joshua Tree a few years ago (using StarStaX & Canon RP w/ 20mm f/1.8). A proper telescope and tracker seems like fun, but I'm afraid of the investment. Is there more in your hardware setup than that?

I also love when super iconic original architecture becomes something else, but you can still see remnants of it.
