More cycle hangars are currently being installed now on Halmyre Street, Thorntree Street, Pilrig Street, Springfield, & East Claremont Street.

These fill up pretty fast so it may be worth checking out the Greasemonkey website in the coming weeks. www.edinburgh.gov.uk/cycling-walk...

It was an honour to join the Leith community, sea-farers, cadets, community reps, & fellow politicians yesterday to attend the Remembrance Service for sailors (both civil & defence) who've sacrificed everything.

Leith still hosts well over 1,000 vessel movements a year.⚓

Bonnington based charity the Compass Therapy Centre are having an open afternoon this Thursday, particularly for people with neurological conditions.

1 in 6 people in the UK have a neurological condition, so really pleased to see such a proactive response in our community.

LCCC is working with WELM and Cllr Jack Caldwell to press the Council for progress on safety, parking and the missing sculptures.

Some fixes are due this month — we’ll share updates soon.

As a few folk have asked about the access / parking situation on Elm Row, I understand bollards should be installed on the crossing build-out behind the bus stops to protect pedestrian space.

I have asked about potentially returning bollards to the side of the cycle lane.

Libraries are precious spaces, & given the Council's just reviewed timings - should be open for communities.

I was disappointed last summer Leith Library was closed for #GE24.

Glad to get cross party support last month to start formally tracking Edinburgh library availability.
