HENDERSON ROW:—Closed northbound after a crash involving a van and a cyclist at around 11.45am this morning.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist has been taken to hospital. Police Scotland advise road users to avoid the area.

1. Be absolutely clear about what you want and why.
2. Don't hang lots of 'nice to haves' on it.
3. Don't keep digging it up to check how the roots are growing.

TBF one might also look at successful examples. Tram phase 1 was a balls-up. Tram phase 2 was not, we venture.

A lot should be preventative maintenance, meaning smaller more frequent jobs replace bigger emergency ones. So there’d be some offsetting that way.
