My biggest disappointment about House 1 is that I LOVE the "Glossy LA Suburbs" horror movies they made in the late 80s (Waxwork, Society, Night Of The Creeps, Fright Night, Slumber Party Massacre 2) and this could've been one of them. So glad they killed it in Part 2.

House (1985)

This movie is boring! The incredible monster SFX and makeup in here are not served justice by the boring script. But they are on to something. House 2 delivers on the promise of this snoozer and has NO CONTINUITY with this movie. GO WATCH HOUSE 2! It's a blast.

This movie is absolutely bananas. I don't know if I really ENJOYED it, but I did appreciate how they basically made the wildest decision at every moment. At least it wasn't boring!

Not most of it, but as someone that's despised it my whole life the fact I like a lot of stuff blows my mind. It's all due to the vibrant alt-country scene in the last 10 years.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
