Brandon talks about how Blitz is designed to be the comic relief or clown of the show, a side character you're supposed to laugh at. However, Blitz is given permission to be something more. Blitz's job in Helluva Boss is to humanize the class clown- to show that with comedy comes great despair.

Every time I hear Brandon talk about not being confident in his voice acting, I’m like….”huh?” I know imposter syndrome is a b-word, but Brandon’s VA work in Helluva is genuinely some of the best I’ve ever heard.
Brandon talks about how scared he was doing Blitz's emotional scenes, thinking that they were going to come out too cheesy and bad. But now he can confidently say that his emotional scenes are "not that bad".
