Happy one year on oestrogen day to all who celebrate.

Spoiler alert: It's me.

I've got some news to share as I continue my journey of self-discovery towards being my authentic self. It hasn't been easy and I felt keeping it under wraps for a while was the safer option, but the time feels right.
"You know they say that all football teams are created equal, but you look at us and you look at Perth and you can see that statement is not true."

Looks like the scoreboard operator had some fun at Home of the Matildas on Sunday 🤣

Perth Glory need to give him the job honestly, even if it's just until the end of the season. There's something special brewing at the Glory, and I think Griffiths is key to it.
Adam Griffiths said he's only as good as the players on the field and their execution, but he also feels that he's done enough to get the Perth Glory job.

I know Mile is coming off a bout of serious illness, but in my entire time covering Macarthur, I have never seen him look so downtrodden and defeated like he was in that press conference tonight. This loss clearly got to him in a very bad way.
Speaking after Macarthur's loss to Perth, Mile Sterjovski said that it doesn’t matter who Macarthur play against, they can’t accept a performance like that.

The cheers and celebrations from the Glory dressing room right now are echoing throughout the hallways in Campbelltown Stadium. It's absolutely infectious #MACvPER

With Lakeside being unavailable, this is probably the best "neutral" option, albeit an advantage to South. Other suitable venues in Sydney that are "neutral" are far too big.

Am I upset that I won't get to travel down for the Final because return flights are like $800? Yes
The venue for the inaugural Australian Championship Final has been decided, with Football Australia saying the venue was selected for its rich football heritage, and to ensure the Final reflected the competition’s identity, as well as the values the competition was built on.

If that wasn't a handball, I have absolutely no idea what one is anymore. How does VAR check that and come back as no penalty? #WSWvSYD #SydneyDerby

if youre trans and youre struggling to justify why you as a person should be allowed to take up space in the universe just consider that by your sheer existence you make a lot of the worst people on earth mad enough that they will die early deaths from stress. so thats a p good reason

There’s no ambiguity left, no plausible deniability about “regime change” or “international security” or “domino theory.”

The US military are the bad guys and have probably have been since about 1960.

This definitely isn't the point, but I'd pay to watch lawn bowls in a sold out 30k seat stadium
Federations relying on “participation rates” to automatically grow attendances infuriates me.

If there was any reliable correlation, Lawn Bowls would need 30,000 seat stadiums, also for many it’s either go watch football OR play football because of time and $$$ limitations. Both is hard.

The guy shot two random people with a gun, I don't think you can say he wasn't assimilating into our culture
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

I learned my lesson after the 2024 #NPLMNSW season not to doubt Marconi.
Peter Tsekenis said he enjoys the banter that comes with having so many people doubt his side each week, with the Marconi coach saying that he uses it to his advantage.

On second thought, given My favourite pronoun pin fell out of my shirt somewhere here at Marconi and I can't find it, maybe I'd rather not be here 😭
From Campbelltown to Gosford to Marconi. It's been a wild three days of games, but where else would you rather be on this gorgeous Saturday?

There was questioning and speculation around Australian media this week as to whether players like Amy Sayer and Remy Siemsen could return to the #ALW ahead of the Asian Cup, but Sayer says the goal is to stay in Europe.

The whole press conference had a weird vibe to it. Mayne also said he's been tasked with preparing the squad for the World Cup in the same answer, and they'll get there almost by default, but leaving out a player who is a first-choice defender is how to guarantee you'll do nothing when you get there
Football Ferns coach Michael Mayne didn't mince his words when he was asked about Rebekah Stott's absence from the side.

Since the World Cup, NZF has done nothing to bring Ferns games home, and just twiddling their thumbs hoping that participation rates alone would mean more awareness. The Ferns programme has regressed, exposure is almost nil, with tonight’s performance the result of the above. Embarrassing. #AUSvNZL
