The same is true for Trump — there is no consistency. It’s only what he wants to be true at the moment, and audio/receipts expose him in a way that is threatening.

In your opinion, to what extent does Trump’s animosity toward the press play a role in criticism of Democrats?

Seems like it’s very tempting and non-controversial to punch at Democrats rather than point to the GOP’s open hostility toward the working class.
