The 80s stuff from my childhood, the 90s stuff from when I picked up comics again in college
very much enjoyed this episode... and now I am thinking about albums like Nebraska where someone either wanted an albums that the suits thought was a demo release, Red Headed Stranger for instance... or albums about male friendships like Dragline by PAW...
I recall seeing that film at the Wayside theater in Ypsi on it's initial release.. and it was one of the first films I rented when we got a VCR....

when people tell me they don't like country music, my first questions is always "you don't like Johnny Cash?"

97% of the time that is the start of the back peddling to "that Johnny/Dolly/Willie .. stuff is good, it is the modern Bro country I don't like "
The funniest thing to me about the “finally giving Johnny Cash his due” is that he’s the country musician basically everyone who doesn’t listen to much country still likes and considers the exemplar of the genre.
rather than sue, send a bill for use of the image, and when it isn't paid send it to collections...
the real question is... is he on the level of Robert Duvall/ Lee Marvin? or is he more like George C Scott playing the comedy version of Parker in The Bank Shot?
I love Neko Case so much... her voice, her point of view and of course that hair...

I thought that Mojo change it to Michale Bolton must XXX .... after Henely got on stage and sang it with him....
I argue it is the best POP ROCK song of the 80s.
but it was written by Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
I have a soft spot for the Henely 80s output,
It could be cheesy, but he was singing about issues on a major label pop rock records that you didn't hear from most of his peers.
the FBI has a code of conduct & if that was violated then punishment should have occurred around the time fo the incident in 2020 . .. this is 5 years later & appears to be part of a larger purge of Agents the Administration don't think will be loyal to them.
my understand is that Agents are Investigators & others who have graduated from the FBI Academy & have a Federal Law Enforcement Certification, while there are support staff that work for the FBI who are not Agents & tend to be in roles like: Admin, IT, Facilities, Records, HR, Analysts, Pilots...
that must be exhausting..
Wilson is right there 4 years after TR left office ... the US went from TR appointing African Americans as diplomats to Wilson allowing his cabinet to re-segregating the federal work force.
I think a lot of people missed that the hair styles of The Folksmen from a Mighty Wind echo those of The Three Stooges...
