And really this is the challenge. It's a network that doesn't exist to promote the inherent interests of its members, but the victims we advocate for. And as such, I think it'll be difficult to get support for it.

Cold outside, but not dark yet, as it's a pretty cloudless day in my part of #Nottingham. Pretty dark, though :) But warm in here. I'm so, so grateful to have somewhere warm to live. It makes life so much better than it was for so long.

I have a picture frame on my desk. Occasionally I change the pictures out to random people without explanation, currently it contains a photo of Idi Amin. It makes me chuckle knowing my work colleagues see these pictures but dare not ask.

Good morning, #vegans. It can be a difficult world to live in. I feel as powerless as anyone else. One thing we all do, which is the one thing everyone can choose to do, is to as far as possible remove abuse from our lives. For the vast majority of people this is a simple step. #vegan #veganism #fta

If HS2 was a motorway, it would have been built by now! But because new rail projects are minutely analysed with this "value for the taxpayer" nonsense. If road building was held to the same level of scrutiny, a sizable amount of the road network would still be cart tracks.

And I'm trying to articulate what a #vegan network can achieve in workplaces. The difference between us and religious, disabilities, neurodivergent & LGBT networks is that we're not advocating for ourselves, but for others.
I think most people think it's a recipe club. :(
