Yeah, this is my tribute to Andrew. I'm making sure he's mentioned in all the posts.

That's also my Reddit group, the standard r/Transformers kind of ignores G1 toys, so I thought Id give them a place to shine.

I didn't know him that well, but we discussed a few concepts and I always said I'd make one of these.

We discussed turning his battery compartment into a ramp/base for the car, but decided it was too far from the source. The concept was to take the G1 toy and put it into the G2 Go-Bots colourscheme as Andrew designed it.

As with any repaint, it has to line up with the mold tooling, so they'll be some details that aren't 1:1 with the animation model.

I just always presumed this was meant to be toon colours as it's pretty obvious the 86 toy wouldn't have been screen accurate back in the day, I think we would have got the orange and pink. Nice to have confirmation.
