Anyhow: that was fun, and of course more fun in company. I can see why Carpenter was a bit reluctant to try and make a better version though he certainly pulled it off. But as a 50s horror thriller action science fiction piece, this wasn’t at all bad. #HorrorWatch

Man, they’re far more open to the idea that it’s an alien visitor than I’m used to. You expect the first act to be full of denial and doubt. This is refreshing. #HorrorWatch
