I like movies a lot. I worry about right-wing extremism. I play and sometimes write tabletop RPGs. I do SRE things but don’t speak for my employer here. I grew up in New England and live with my wife in Seattle. He/his.

Crypt of the Vampire, sure. My Letterboxd mutuals are deeply mixed on this.

Pluribus, and while I don’t know that Carol could manage it I’m fairly confident that the happy members of collective humanity could pull it off.

I am not following AEW super close but I find myself wondering if, assuming Mox gets turfed out of the Death Riders, we aren’t gearing up for the return of Eddie and Mox? Like perhaps Tony was waiting for Eddie to get healthy before executing the face turn?

Man, and it’s on Hoopla. Adding to the rewatch pile.

I dunno if it’s great, I saw it when it came out and it’s been a while. But Hope Davis is always fun, Philip Seymour Hoffman has a nice supporting role, and Brad Anderson’s competent. Plus I was always a little wistful that the Wonderland stop wasn’t, you know, that Wonderland. So it resonated.

Nope, I wear clothing out. Having to actually cycle most of my work wardrobe has been the really disconcerting aspect of my weight loss.

The only book I have that comes close is below, and I recommend it, but it's tangential.

I've also seen this Italy-specific doc, which is also good: letterboxd.com/film/eurocri...

That is a title which also reflects my other interests so pretty perfect — thanks! (And in general thanks for giving me some valuable guideposts to the subgenre, especially the one named Gian Maria Volonté.)
