I was not expecting the lawyer representing conversion therapy to say that it's not a medical treatment. I hope a justice will call out that he keeps distinguishing "treatment" from "conduct" from "speech" even though something can be all three. #scotus

@otcpod.bsky.social I was struck by the most recent pod describing how PSV + Ajax lost all their strikers to injury. Are big teams in lower-level leagues signing players that bigger clubs aren't considering fit enough? I'm thinking about PSV taking injury-prone Dest, or Bremen and Boniface

@badlawyerpod.bsky.social you discussed the Flores / Rooney Rule situation but I don't think you mentioned the absolute absurd (and now struck down) arbitration clause

We've been taught to believe that, as parents, we shape a lot of our children's future, personality, knowledge, etc.

I've been a citizen since I was eight and this is my recurring fear, sitting like a pit in my stomach, when I'm out with my 18 month old.
A man pulled up to a gas station to fill up his truck. ICE agents surrounded him and took him away. But his children were left behind.
“They arrested someone,” witness said. “They left the children inside the truck.”

Trump Admin being mad about Amazon showing tariffs shows that the tariff is not about economics. From an economics perspective, showing consumer the tariff cost could prompt them to search for similar goods without the tariff -- nudging them to find American producers of similar goods

This is a very alarming constitutional gray area and Trump is floating it because he’s taking it seriously. Ignoring the ambiguities in the 12th and 22nd Amendments won’t make them go away! slate.com/news-and-pol...
