#ROBEBOTS is a miniature agnostic skirmish wargame in which players control Wizard Robots against each other. The Wizard Robots fight for dominance with everything from magic to machine guns.

My plan now is to test and improve it, then eventually launch it on Wargames Vault as a pdf zine.

For a long time now I've been wanting to create my own miniature wargame. I've been listening to #Snarlcast by @snarlingbadgers.bsky.social each fortnight and they give excellent guidance.

This week, I finally did it! I have created #ROBEBOTS V0.1. Now to put it through play tests and iterations.

This evening we had our first #GameNight in ages. My Garrison of Ithilien vs. Kingdom of Khazad Dum. Unfortunately the brave men of Gondor were slaughtered.

It's a great store. They have a really decent range of miniature games, RPGs, board games and hobby supplies. I've been to one event there before, and the gaming space and terrain is excellent too.

My 700pt Garrison of Ithilien army is ready for its first event in a few weeks at Athena Games in Norwich.

It's definitely not an "optimal" list, but I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Today I finished a Ranger of Gondor with a banner for my Garrison of Ithilien army.

I don't plan to field him, but I'll be glad to have an option if one of my Warriors of Minas Tirith with a banner dies next to a Ranger.

Thank you. I started off with that scheme for a small part of this collection because I had a tight deadline for an event and I thought I could do it relatively quickly. I liked how it looked and now the collection is three times the size.
