SOoooo I've managed to break EA so comprehensively purely by way of paying for the games I like for them more than once that I can no longer play any EA game ever again aside from maybe Veilguard. Nice.

I know WHY the government has my banking details on record (I was a public servant, and a benefit recipient etc) but it's still a bit of a shock to log in to something government related that needs my banking details and find they're already there.

I know it's another level of time on top of too much time already but the idea that you interview an author about their work to check if it's AI generated isn't half bad actually. I very very very much doubt anyone submitting AI slop bothers to read it.

So today was fun. Had to do two things I hadn’t planned for which throws me off balance because of my brain and then the takeaway bag with dinner in it ripped and then I turned on the shower for it to heat up without checking where the painters were aiming it and had a shower fully clothed. Fun.

Fucking stepped off the curb wrong on the way to an appointment today and now my ankle is fucked. ANKLES SUCK ALMOST AS MUCH AS KNEES. I tore a ligament once IN MY SLEEP. Stupid dumb bodies.

On the Adaptation Train: I'm willing to accept that Foundation is a good TV show but I fucking wish to all hell they hadn't called it Foundation. It's got absolutely sweet fuck all to do with the books except a core concept that they abandon pretty much immediately.

To be honest we do not need it, but!!! The removal of fear about what would happen if we DID lose income would mean we were WAY more likely to back creatives and charities.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?
