Lots of new followers this week, so here's a brief bio thinger which I will pin.

I'm Australian, I'm queer, I write short stories and audio drama and I play videogames. That's basically it. If you want to see the things I do it's all here: linktr.ee/imogencassid...

I have to say I don't do accents but getting to do VOICES is so much fun for me. Riding the high of being able to voice a deeply weird NPC for my MoTW folks today. Yes he's going to be a recurring character forever now.
IT WENT GREAT. God I'm so much better at GMing MoTW than DnD. Thank christ for a two die system that's investigation based.
Never been more satisfied with the ending of a movie as I was with Snowpiercer actually. That ending felt RIGHT.

Today's conceptual earworm:

When 'ordinary schoolboy' Eric ate a banana, he turned into Bananaman, an adult. This was in the early-to-mid 80s. I'd estimate him to have been around 10.

He would now be in his 50s. If he eats a banana, he will turn into a geriatric banana person.
Like everything it will be a slow decline *lies down*
Shout out to @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social for my T-shirt of which you can only see the goblin pissing.

Very cool, to say the least, to share a ToC with such a stellar list of writers in 'The Year's Best Robot and AI Stories'. Looking forward to getting my author copy.
... In that I will be arriving in Brighton on the 5th of November and will be leaving on the 9th. SORRY I PHRASED THAT LIKE A HORROR WRITER.
OH I DO WANT TO ADD I'm not going to Brighton for World Fantasy (although I fucking wish I was) but if folk are hanging around in the area afterwards please hit me up. I'll be there till the 9th. I won't be there until the 5th tho.

All good. I just skoonspruited in your honor.
I have three different editions of it on my bookshelves :D
I know you lived on an island (and in the traditional sense not in the also-a-continent sense I did) so that stuff is FASCINATING. I hate stairs so I would be unsuited to living in a lighthouse but I STILL WANT TO.
A travesty. When I do my next audio drama pitch they will both be in it.
Also Jesus Christ that picture of Sunny Corner looks like something out of a murder serial when we drove through it it was actually lovely. ALSO DARK CORNER WAS ALSO LOVELY.
www.imdb.com/title/tt0065... Watched it when I was in a hotel room in France when I was 7. Slept with the light on for close on ten years.
