Ahhhh GNU Tom Stoppard, what an amazing body of work. Was introduced to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead from a SUDS production and fell in love with all of his work afterwards.

I can't remember if it was @alasdairstuart.bsky.social or @duckpond.bsky.social who recc'd the Infinite Bad (and by extension Definitely Human) to me when I was in Brighton but in the month since I have devoured three of their shows and am starting on a fourth so THANK YOU.

There is a reason why traditional Christmas lunch in Australia is a shedload of cold prawns and oysters and smoked salmon and potato salad cold ham and bread rolls and pavlova (served cold) and trifle (served cold) and cold champagne and maybe MAAAYBE at the end a bit of fruitcake. Cold.

Been sick this week and listening to The Infinite Bad and I don't think I could have chosen a better Actual Play to binge during a fever dream. Any way, applauding the cosmic horror and the fact that they don't shy away from some truly awful stuff, but yet, STILL HILARIOUS.

Both cowed and proud that every person I know in the legal profession (and I know a fair few of them) have all said they're not going to take me for jury duty in a couple of weeks.

I'm in a lot of official game servers because it's useful to know if the entire game is going to crash when I load it up but I still think every time there's a little red notification on the server list that maybe they've DISCOVERED I AM PLAYING IT WRONG.

I'm nearly fifty. I didn't have my fortieth birthday party because I had one deflated (fake) boob from complications during breast cancer surgery and then when I was recovered my ex-best friend had come out as a raging fascist so I kinda just skipped it.
I'm going to fucking TOWN for my fiftieth.
