Another downside about going back to school is how often you get sick.

Perhaps so, but one of the front tier issues here is the credit card companies denying our payouts. That is quite different from websites policies allowing or not allowing NSFW, and actually impacts those policies a lot. Cuz it all comes down to a website wanting to earn money.

It makes me think of all the other studios & games that have simply shut down, without notice, due to these circumstances as well.

This absolutely sucks and is entierly undeserved. The anti-porn charade is impacting many studios and creators that dare make NSFW in similar ways.

Midnight release was a wonderful concept that shed light on how sexual pleasure can differ from person to person with their diverse cast of characters.

Development on Midnight Release has been paused. This sucks but I have to put the needs of my staff first. The patreon will stay up, and be filled with new NSFW content, and we will be pivoting to a sfw furry game.

Paying my people is important and I don't want anyone at the studio to lose income.
