i don't understand why people keep talking about "bad empanada" but if you want a good empanada, golden crown bakery in old town albuquerque has an empanada vending machine outside their door so you can get empanadas even when they are closed. they're the fruity kind not the savory kind

If you've never had a good look at the eyelashes on a greater roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus), check out the second picture. This one practically ran me over but stopped long enough to glare. Photo taken at Tingley Beach, Albuquerque on December 18, 2025.
