On October 13, 1987 "Zombie Nightmare" was released on home video! Produced and directed by Jack Bravman, written by John Fasano, and starring Adam West, Jon Mikl Thor, Tia Carrere, Frank Dietz, Walter Massey, and Linda Singer. The film centres around a baseball player who is killed by a group of teenagers and is resurrected as a zombie by a Haitian voodoo priestess. The zombie goes on to kill the teens, whose deaths are investigated by the police. The soundtrack features Motorhead, Girlschool, Virgin Steele, and Jon Mikl Thor's band Thor. Zombie Nightmare was shown in a 1994 episode of the comedy television series Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I’m watching George A. Romero’s “Day of the Dead”. We’re nearing the end where the zombies are fighting over the body parts of the dead soldiers. It leaves me to wonder if it inspired the first dog fight scene in Wes Anderson’s “Isle of Dogs”.
