In Edmonton for Thanksgiving. Went to the river valley for a bike ride, did 25km and passed the 3200km mark. So I'm now 1000km away form my best year ever. Well see if I can get back into the rhythm of regular riding and match or beat my record for a year.

Prime example illustrating problems with building out connected pathway infrastructure. New pathway ends agonizingly close to the pathway built along the Bow Tr connector to Stoney Tr. Fence line is the demarcation between two levels of bureaucracy. Wagers on it ever being completed? #yycbike

Just wondering because A) I don't have a cargo bike, B) a woman came through with a couple of very full bags & a bike helmet, we talked about the challenges of balancing them for riding. I said: a cargo bike would be nice, she said I have one but didn't bring it. I started to wonder why? So....

The reason I ask is I've seen lots of videos on the impact of hills, and lots of videos on interacting with cars bad videos but I don't recall anything on which is worse.
