Good to see UEFA set up a potential Kosovo vs Romania playoff final. Always nice when they draw something with the minor threat of it absolutely kicking off into violence.

Gallapeni a big winner given the injury to Paqarada that's kept him out much of the Autumn. Is he now ahead of him when both are fit? I'm not sure, but the crossover point isn't far away.
No player under the age of 23 has won more duels in the UEFA World Cup qualifiers than Dion Gallapeni – 46.

The 20-year-old Widzew Łódź left-back has quickly become a key figure for Kosovo. 🇽🇰💫

Sure I’ll watch this hundreds of times but have to say what a feeling it must have been for Steven Thompson to a) commentate this, b) scream at his colleague and friend to shoot from there and, c) him to actually shoot and stick it in from halfway to punch the ticket to the World Cup

What a moment.
Kenny McLean sends Scotland to the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998. I love sports. This is what it’s all about.

A potential Romania-Kosovo tie as a final in the playoff path would be… feisty.

That is three of the greatest goals I’ve ever seen Scotland score.

In the same game.

To reach the World Cup for the first time since I was 12.

That’s why this is the greatest sport in the world.

It’s magic being Scottish.

Absolute magic.

Holy holy, Kieran Tierney. You amazing man

I now care.
This is the most absolute shithouse of a way to go to a World Cup

BUT I DO NOT CARE ONE BIT

Now, this? This is probably worse.
If we could just mess this up soon, because another 60 mins of trying to hang on to 1-0 is not good for a nation’s health.

Karic CAN play.

Huge boost for Bosnia to have this sorted after dragging on for too long. The script is there for him to make a big impact for his adopted country vs his spurned one tonight.
Austrian media say it's sorted.
Bosnian side haven't confirmed.

KO in 13 hours and still not really closer to knowing if Karic is eligible to play tonight.
24 hours to go before arguably the most crucial game of UEFA's entire WC qualifying campaign and Karic STILL hasn't been authorised to play by FIFA.

World Cup placement could be decided on back of one FA (allegedly, per Bosnia side) dragging their heels so a player can't play for their opponents.

One of the more intriguing subplots ahead of the final round of WC qualifiers will be that of Emir Karic in Austria vs Bosnia.

Karic switched from Austria to Bosnia for this window and was pulled from the side to start yesterday last minute because the Austrian FA dragged their heels and...

Croatia had three CBs playing for two spots on the plane to the US.

On behalf of Luka Vuskovic and the injured Martin Erlic, thanks to Duje Caleta-Car for ruling himself out by having an absolute mare so far

Fortunately a dead rubber, but Montenegro-Croatia on Monday is a fair bet to be interrupted. Heavy rain forecast in the run up to and during the game itself - Podgorica is generally wet anyway, but it's getting about 2 weeks worth of rain in a few hours on game day.

Obviously it's early for this particular market but those odds for Brazil to win the WC are wildly short. More favoured than the reigning champs who we ten points ahead of them in qualifying. More favoured than the side who knocked them out last time (that 100/1 is value).

Ivan Ilic, who went off injured in the Serbia-England game, is done for the season - while they're awaiting swelling to go down to scan fully, the expectation is an ACL rupture and that will mean start of next season is a reasonable estimate for getting back to action.
