The plaque honoring the law enforcement officers who responded to the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, which was commissioned by Congress in 2022, remains in storage. Mike Johnson has refused to place it on the wall, as was intended. That "deed" speaks pretty loudly.

Bribery. He is bribing the nation of Argentina with financial support for the whole nation if they elect his friend and outright claimed he will withdraw it in several separate statements. This is a quid pro quo (latin for "this for that") assertion. It is bribery and is a potential felony.

California just banned employers from forcing workers to pay a debt, fee, or penalty to leave their job.

Bosses have increasingly been trapping workers with debts incurred in training and other exploitative fees.

Now that's illegal in the nation's biggest state.
