‘The Strangers: Chapter 3’ Review: Visual Melatonin
As The Strangers: Chapter 3 reached its midpoint, tears pricked at my cheeks in that dimly lit theatre. Not from any considerable stir of emotion for our heroine Maya, or The Strangers themselves. The...

Worth a read and not letting Burton off the hook, but he cast Marlon Wayans as Robin and Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face, and someone else decided to undo that shit

4. You gotta communicate. Life throws hands all the time. If you’re about to fuck up a deadline for reasons out of your control then you need to say something the to person waiting on the piece. Ghosting them looks way worse than having to explain shit went down and stopped you from being great.

Tim Burton’s films are generally beloved, but does nostalgia blind us to issues like representation? Read our newest article by @sharai.bsky.social and decide for yourself if maybe revisiting the past isn’t always a good thing. #horrorsky
Tim Burton, Representation, and the Problem With Nostalgia
Tim Burton was not always my nemesis. In the not-too-distant past, I was a child who just wanted to watch creepy things. I rewatched Beetlejuice countless times and thought he was a lot more involved ...
