I wish people would make their own websites again! A personal page, fandom page, a space to showcase their creations and hobbies. Sure, not everyone needs to be a webdev wizard, a WIX or Squarespace page is fine, but I miss surfing the web seeing others' spaces and not just a linktree of socials

we really need more social media features that allow people to exist in-between the binaries of “public” and “private”

On Bluesky, if you @ someone it just treats it like a normal post…on Twitter it would only show up for people who follow both you and the person you @‘d.

as of this week, when you verify your account by updating your username from a default like emily.bsky.social to your website @emilyliu.me, your former bsky.social username is reserved for you automatically (and prevents impersonators from claiming it). you can revert back to it at anytime

Hello, I've officially moved the Content Scrapers blocklist to its own dedicated account.
The old list will stay for the time being, but you'll need to manually re-subscribe to the new list if you want to stay up to date with the latest additions to the blocklist.
