I'm not a speedrunner or that heavily into it, but seeing all the wild stuff people figure out that lets them sequence break or like skip random encounters in jRPGs and stuff is so cool. Even if it's not exactly my thing, I have such massive respect for people who pull this stuff off.

Big publishers believe they need to say that they're investigating AI to keep investors happy.
Angel investors who invest in small companies are more interested in hitting the AI grand slam than they are in shipping a game.

My conspiracy theory about genAI in games blowing up more and more by big companies is that they’ve all got a ton of investors insisting they use genAI tools otherwise they(investors) won’t be able to bankroll em anymore
