Judge person’s character by how they treat people who can't reciprocate, who can't increase their social standing and, most importantly, how they treat people who can’t fight back.
When I was hungry, you passed a city ordinance against groups who would have given me free food.

When I was thirsty, you removed the public water fountains.

When I was tired, you made sleeping in public places illegal.

When I was a stranger, you told me I had better leave before you came back with your gun.

When I was sick, you said "Maybe he'll die and that'll be one less we have to worry about."

When I was in prison, you said "He is finally where he belongs, thank God."

When I was executed, you said to everyone, "This is why we follow the Lord and obey the Good Book in my house."

Ai art of a long-haired bearded man hugging a small child to his chest.

“Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy. Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media. That’s why Trump is attacking education, science, museums and the arts — to prevent us from learning. It’s Fascism 101.”

AZ AG Mayes: If I have to, I’ll take Speaker Johnson to court. There's no legitimate reason for him to refuse to swear her in right now. And it's not fair for Mike Johnson to be holding the state of Arizona hostage because he doesn't want to release the Epstein files.

Back at Broadview where conservative stream Ben Bergquam and Proud Boy Terry Newsome stopped by to harass protesters. ISP separated them and made them come across the street by press.

Bergquam was embedded with ICE last month — my story: chicago.suntimes.com/immigration/...

Remember when Republicans simply refused to allow hearings on any Supreme Ct Justice Obama put forward? They openly refused to vote.

That could be a problem for them.

They're pretty dedicated to repeating their mistakes and demanding different results.

So ICE is supposed to be removing the fence but instead has, for now, acquired even more fence for mysterious purposes
tylerplariviere.bsky.social
A lots happened, a flatbed with fence equipment entered the facility a couple dozen agents came out, chatted with ISP, and three ICE marked vehicles have come out and are parked in front of the fence on beach street.

“This is a fight to which every single Christian is called, and it’s not fought on a physical battlefield or even only in the public square. This is a spiritual battle that is waged in our homes and in our neighborhoods, at school, at your job.”

I live in Texas, and I have some idea how much of the population here is shit, through and through, but I underestimated them.

6,700 women gathered in Dallas to mourn Charlie Kirk and to talk about carrying on the work of one of the worst humans to live.

The Republicans want to go back to when women experiencing problems "down there" were too mortified to go to the doctor despite their discomfort and didn't have the language to even describe what was happening, because "down there" was a mystery. You know, MODESTY.
