Perhaps the UK gov has not enough on its conscience that can let Anti-Genocide activists die??
I trust the UK people will appreciate that this is not about Palestine anymore: it is about their own freedoms.

O'Callaghan and Fianna Fáil are aligning themselves with the absolute worst people and politics in Europe, and journalists need to start asking them about it.
To date, I have seen little evidence that Irish media is prepared to meet this moment, and I fear the worst.
Liam Herrick: Why has Ireland abruptly decided the European Convention on Human Rights goes too far?
Precedent could have far-reaching consequences. Who is to say the rights of gay citizens won’t be the next target by a coalition of hostile states?

Once again, if you believe that FF&FG would only love to give us a well-resourced, world beating welfare state but it’s just those pesky immigrants won’t let them, you are a gobshite. You have a loyalty card with your local bridge salesman. You were, in fact, born yesterday.

If only he said killing 20,000 children in Gaza was fine and the president of the US was a genius he would still have a job with the BBC
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

I don't recall where I saw it, but someone one said that art is how we decorate space and music is how we decorate time, and while that might not be a very helpful definition, I do think it's a very beautiful one.

Here’s the ddr. / Heat Werk archive from last night. It’s our 200th episode (inc. the cursed show), but Daragh & I will do a proper 200 celebration one over Christmas (cosmos willing)

Spotify is crashing HARD because of the boycott. Their stock dropped 11% in value over the last month. Let’s keep this going!

Tell everyone you know to boycott Spotify. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t run ICE advertisements and screw over artists.

We made it easy at boycottspotify.com.

Ok so schedule some Dáil time for a debate about migration policy then, isn't that how this is supposed to work?
An 'open and honest debate about migration policy' must be allowed, including a discussion around the 'push and pull factors'', said Public Expenditure Minister Jack Chambers jrnl.ie/6864311
Harris defends migration comments as opposition parties criticise 'lack of leadership' on issue
Tánaiste says he ‘absolutely’ stands by his comments.

Some very quick googling found 12 articles about how we never talk about immigration, often written by the same people
Just as a quick example of how stupid it is to be claiming we have no discussion on immigration, here are a few headlines from a single writer for the Indo. If debate was being shut down, how do all these articles exist, and this is just one writer!

It is with profound sadness that RTÉ announces the death of radio presenter and actor Seán Rocks. Seán died last night following a brief illness at the age of 63.

Seán is survived by his beloved Catherine and sons Christian and Morgan.

May he rest in peace.

There’s a lot that RTÉ radio get right and top is their evening arts review hour Arena. It’s so refreshing after a day of the usual current affairs madness to focus on what’s happening culturally. RIP Seán Rocks, he presented it perfectly with such consistency. He will be sorely missed in our house
