Despite his f*cked up politics - some of my favorite Beatle related moments involve Eric Clapton such as him / Lennon on “Cold Turkey” and him / George on Cream’s “Badge” - Eric is on both of Billy Preston’s Apple albums - plus the solo on “while my guitar” and the All Things Must Pass album

Joni perfects her jazz-folk blend with brilliant engaging songs and a sublime band to play them. I pity the fools that haven’t grasped this masterpiece yet. She built with her bare hands what autotuners, sampling, and ten co-writers and five producers still can’t do today.
